We did not stay in the hotel, although it looked wonderful. However the restaurant was fabulous. We had nachos for an appetizer and it could have been the main course. They were wonderful. We were very impressed with the food and the service but the view is fantastic. We highly recommend the Balcony. It is well worth the stop by.

My room number 206 was a dump. It had not been remodeled like the brochure said. It did not have a Park View as I was told it would and it was filthy. The employees made jokes about all the stupid people who stayed there when they thought no one was listening. The worst part of the experience was the misrepresentation by the owners about the hotels multi million dollar restoration and condition. ... [more]While some of the rooms I saw had been restored and remodeled most had not. Despite this, cleanliness and courtesy by the staff could have gone a long way towards making a bad expierence better it was non existant however. All I can say is don't go there and tell your friends not to. [less]

The place was very old, and was not worth what we were paying... main website says someone will unload luggage for you but we had to do it ourself. The hotel in itself was smelly like mothballs.. and the rooms were so small we could barely move around. There were hairs on the bed.. it was so gross we had to cancel our reservations. I wouldn't go back unless I absolutely had to.
