This was a great concept, semi close to the strip and cheap...well it was not what we had in mind. It was a little cramped...the AC broke the 1st night there and we had 2 small children and it was HOT....it took forever (like over an hour of arguing) to get our money back for the extra night we had already payed for we we decided we did not want to stay another night and they couldn't provide us with another room. all in all....we will gladly spend the extra money to have a nicer hotel...and the kids are staying with grandma.

In the first place the price they charge you is not the price they told you it was going to be.I had prepaid the room and they make you pay 50$ deposit of witch they take away 40$ when you check out.
Secondly, the beds werent really clean, you could see hairs all over it.
They didnt service the room one day and they charged for it.
And when you ask for the manager to complain and have an explanation they tell you he is away and no one can take his place, i think this is terrible, places like that shouldnt be allowed to be open. I will never go back there again.

My son got married in Las Vegas on April 30,2005. My hubby and I flew to the wedding, having made prior reservations. I wanted to stay in a Station Casinos hotel, but all were booked near the strip. Station Casinos owns Wild Wild West, so we thought it would be the same as the other Station casinos which are great. WRONG!!!
Upon arriving, they informed me I had to pay a $50.00 fee, even though I had used my credit card. They had my reservation in such a mess, it took three very rude girls to straighten it out, all blaming it on someone else. Upon checkout, a manager had to get that fee back for us.
The room was Nasty!!! It appeared someone had thrown up on the wall by the bed long ago and it had never been cleaned. There was a "cootie" hair in the bathtub. I complained, but they had no other rooms available. We had requested a bottom floor non smoking room, and we got a 2nd floor smoking room.
They had no transportation, such as a shuttle bus to the strip which is about three very long blocks away. The casino is tiny and I left there with a dirty feeling.
I learned my lesson, by staying at a cheaper hotel, never to do that again. Motel 6 would have been like the Taj Mahal next to this dump. Bottom line- very rude employees,
Dirty rooms and casino, NEVER EVER STAY AT WILD WILD WEST!

This hotel was filthy, the room was noisy beyond belief, it was basically a truck stop with gaming tables. I would not reccomend this to anyone, the cost savings are not worth it. It was 600 dollars less than the next cheapest place i could find and I think i got ripped off. The only positive i can give it is a cheap breakfast that tasted good.

You really get a good deal for your money at the Wild Wild West. The rooms are clean and well furnished. It's no frills but it's a definitely the best deal around! I had a superb omlette in their restaurant. I'll be back for more!

The food and service in the dining room was very good - with large quality portions.
The casino looked like a 1950's motel and while the grounds were kept up, the rooms were only fair in condition. The shower had been painted and had large piece of paint peeling. I was put in a smokers room that was cover in smokers film. I went to a local store to buy Lysol to make it somewhat livable. They did not disclose that the charged for local calls OR would charge minutes for making those calls. Since I am a realtor, and was at a seminar, I was emailed often requiring long times on the computer, I also researched listings and updated them while I was there. When I left I was charged over $100. in phone charges.
It was very difficult to get a cab there, I often waited 15 to 20 minutes for a cab to arrive. While there, I was reaching for my cell phone - just as maid accidently rammed her service cart into the AC outside my room - the result: I wrenched my back as I quickly turned to see what was going on. I could not get a cab to take me to the Urgent Care and had to walk approximatly 3/4 mile. Needless to say my last and ONLY free day in Vegas was spent waiting on Doctors - cabs and getting medication to help the pain.
I might go back to eat there, but think next year I'll be staying somewhere else.

This is the best place in vegas. Its like your in vegas in the 1860. I will never stay any where else.

I don't know what planet those ratings came from but the place is a dive and a dump...must be posted by their management. It's cheap at times and that's it!
