The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach

My wife and I spent the second week of our honeymoon here. Initially, we were put in a room with an ajoining door to the room next to us- we could hear everything next door. We asked to move and we got a much better room with no shared door and a much better view of the beach and Diamond Head. The Outrigger Waikiki is right in the middle of the best part of the beach, surrounded by all the shopping you could ever imagine. You can walk to just about anywhere. Duke's is a great place for anything from a drink to breakfast to terrific seafood. If you're a guest of the Outrigger, you can get priority reservations for dinner there. They put you in front of reservations from the general public and call you in your room when your table is ready. The hotel has a friendly staff in nearly every facet. We appreciated the complimentary champage and room upgrade upon check-in. Also- if you need recommendations of things to do, take advantage of their helpful activities desk- they make great suggestions and book everything for you. If you want a lounge chair by the pool, be sure to get the early. It fills up by mid-morning. There's so much to do at and around this hotel- if you want a little more relaxation, try Kauai, bot otherwise, this place is a lot of fun and perfectly located.

Everything was wonderful. Staff friendly and efficient, food well prepared, cost reasonable, location was perfect. Nothing, absolutely nothing to not like at this hotel.

	Perfect location!
	A strange odor in the hallways, but not in the rooms!

My husband and I stayed here for honeymoon in January (2005), and it was wonderful! We were upgraded to the penthouse floor with partial ocean views the minute we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, the small fridge even had two bottles of water for us! If you are there on a Friday, you have to participate in the free lei making experiance. We had so much fun!
The location of the hotel is right across from the International Market, and just down the street from the Hyatt where all the tours pick up.

It's on the beach, you can walk practically anywhere since it's so centralized, and it has really nice amenities. Definitely recommend this hotel...

Really enjoyed our stay. Was able to compare to another hotel on the strip and in was much better in comparision. Having the beach at the backdoor was great. Housekeeping was not always done in a timely manner. But the overall service was good.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1st trip to Hawaii; staying at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach was the BEST CHOICE EVER! We felt at home and special every instant of our stay. Personnel in all areas of hotel are EXCELLANT. Room was EXCELLANT. Wouldn't hesitate to stay next trip; thanks to them I plan on another trip!

I never wanted to come home again after spending seven wonderful days at the Ottrigger. I stayed at the Outrigger less than a week after graduating from high school, with six friends of mine. We had such a blast, and the people at the Outrigger were very welcoming to us. I would go back again anytime!

Duke's Canoe Club is the best bar and grill in Waikiki and it is in this fun little hotel. The location of the hotel is superb, right on the beach, you can practically jump into the ocean from your balcony. We stay in the ocean front units, they are smaller than the rest but you can't get any closer to the water, pricey though. You might try an ocean view or partical ocean for a bigger room and cheaper price. The little shops and quick breakfast stops are nice. Parking is really easy if you are stuck with a car. But the best reason to hang your hat here is so you can hang out on your balcony and hear the live music from Duke's! It is the best place to be in town.
