W New Orleans - French Quarter

My most profound memory of our weekend stay at The W was opening up the French window that looked out over the little street below, a narrow street lined with antique stores and posts where horses used to rest. The interior of our room was comfortable luxury, with little treats in the fridge available for easy purchase. The shower was spacious.

Although we had rented a car, we spent most of weekend on foot--exploring the French Quarter. On Friday night, we walked two blocks to Burbon street and perused the jazz halls, specialty stores, and restaurants. The famous party street was so close it felt during those days that we lived in the neighborhood, yet just far enough away to be relatively quiet and allow for a good nights sleep. On Saturday we shopped the nearby antique stores and visited museums. On Sunday morning we walked a few blocks down to Jackson Square and attended mass at the cathedral.

After dinner on Sunday night, we rested in the courtyard by the fountain. Between the water and the trees, I looked up to see the moon shining upon us. My last night in New Orleans, I took a photograph of the moon.

We demand a lot and we pay a lot but here we love to stay, nice and cozy hotel.
Will make you feel home, you will love.
Do not hesitate with you choice stay here.
But do not go to ACME - local oyster house, but better visit - BURBON HOUSE 1/2 block further, but about hotel - BEST one so far
RIGH PRICE TOO.
10 stars of service.
Rooms a bit small but take a small sweet

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. It is close to Bourbon Street and the Cathederal and French Market. Close to everything. The most courteous staff that I have ever experienced in New Orleans. The hotel gives you the feel of a small hotel with the connection to a large chain.

If you are going to New Orleans, stay at the W in the French Quarter.

Great location for the work trip. close enough to the bars and restaurants of the French Quarter yet far enough away from the noise that it was quiet at night.

room was a bit smaller than i expected but the service was excellent.

There are beds everywhere! This is the perfect hotel for this town. You do not have to make it to your room to collapse. The staff is great, and the location is right across from Mothers famous restaurant.

The staff was courteous and friendly, the room was comfortable, and it is conveniently located. Also, the hotel is beautifully chic. I would definitely visit again -- and next time would love to try their restaurant, Zoe, which I heard was delicious. New Orleans itself is a delight -- i'm sure I will be back.

I had a great experience there. The decoration is really modern (contemporary style). The service was good and the people has really good attitude toward the guest. This hotel is located in a excellent place, easy to get access to the main streets and fun places in New Orleans, including the Harra's casino inside. The french quarter, the Aquarium, museums, the river are placed just a walking distance from the hotel.
The swiming pool have some comfortables cabins with TV included, perfect for enjoying the swimming pool with family and/or friends while having a privacy space.
Finally, the best thing were the beds. Make you feel just like in heaven, resting in the clouds!!!!!
