Across from a great beach, clean and quiet and bbq's at the pools! Awesome! We loved cooking while sitting in the hot tubs after a long day snorkling and enjoying the sun and sand at the beach! We will definately be back!

We stayed in a roomy two bedroom suite, with full kitchen, washer/dryer, tropical decor, huge balcony, and wonderful view of the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful

The brochure picture of the hotel makes it appear to be beachfront, but the beach is actually across the highway. That is not a problem because there are great public beaches everywhere in Kihei.

Overall, the best accommodations we had during our Hawaii vacation!

It was so cozy and so perfectly placed too!!! The livingroom was decorated in complete hawaii style. Birds would come onto the lanai to feed as well!

My family and I stayed at the Banyan in July. It was great. The 2 Bedroom/2 bath suite was excellent for the family. We loved the BLUE pool and the access to the beach could not have been better. It was just across the street. The service desk could have been friendlier but I was there just for the great view of the beach. If you are bringing children this is the spot for you.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit last January. We thought it was great for the price. The pool area is a bit small, but it was never crowded. The beach is just a short walk and is wonderful. We had a bbq area just one unit away from ours and it served us nicely.

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed here the first five nights of our Honeymoon last September. Service was typical for Hawaii, very friendly and helpful, but the main office can be hard to find (not well labeled among the tropical plants). Rooms are a great value, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lots of space. Great pool and wonderful location, not far from anywhere on Maui! The view of the ocean and volcano are wonderful.

I have stayed at the Maui Banyan four years earlier, and found it to be a nice choice this September as well, when I returned with my wife and another couple. The 2 bedroom,2 bath suite with a view of the ocean was reasonably priced and offer a private refuge after a day of sightseeing and/or shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. On two evenings the poolside bar-b-ques offer spectacular sunsets- a pleasant alternative to the crowded cafes. The only complaint we had, was the soiled carpets outside the front door to the suites.
