My air conditioner didn't work, however they have assured me that they would compensate me with one free night on my next visit. By the next day, my air conditioner was operable.

The hotel serviced its purpose - quick NYC trip for a wedding in Central Park.

Very nice 'boutique' like..small, clean, trendy, quick service, amenities were convenient and useful. Great French Bakery one block away. Good location between East Village, Central Park, Time Square.

Disliked - Weather was cool and mild, but the room remained stuffy even with the AC. Probably just our room, but our sink failed to drain properly was well.

Other than those two complaints...overall experience with 70 Park Ave was a good one. I would recommend this hotel to F&Fs.

I got a pretty economical deal for this hotel and absolutely loved it..The service was prompt and the staff was very polite. They are located close to the main attractions. Hotel was always kept tidy and I would highly recommend it!!

70 Park Avenue is a welcome addition to the many New York hotel offerings and carries through the tradition of Kimpton Hotel service and comfort. The rooms are tastefully furnished, with comfortable bed, plasma tv and high speed internet access.
My king size bed room was a bit of tight squeeze between the desk and the bed, making it a bit awkward for the delivery of breakfast by room service. However, in room coffee, bathroom accouturements make up for that one inconvenience. Location is ideally suited for midtown with easy access to Grand Central as well as a range of restaurants. The on-site Silverleaf Tavern was enjoyable as well for cocktails and light supper.

My sister-in-law and I visited NYC with my two young nieces - The staff made us feel at home and everyone loved the experience - Close enough to the action but nice and quiet neighborhood -

Our stay at 70 Park was a fabulous experience! The concierge was wonderfully helpful in directing us to the local flavor of the city as well as touristy attractions. The bed linens were great and the room very clean. The staff was kind and very attentive. I'd love to stay there again!

I would definitely recommend this hotel!
My sisters and I spent a weekend at this hotel. It was very clean, the staff was excellent and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was problem-free. Extra helpful was Jose, one of the doormen.

My wife and I stayed there for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful time. It's in a quiet area near central station and only a couple of blocks from Time Square and the shopping district. The hotel was very clean and the decor in the room was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in NY and this to date has been the best. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant just opened and its amazing!! Definitely recommend it. Mind you no tea/Coffee making facilities in the room!!
