User reviews for Seneca Hotel & Suites
By • I could live at the Seneca
Overall Rating: 10 The Seneca has an old charm about it. The room was wonderful, and was like an apartment with 6 closets. It has what some are calling a kitchenette, but it's a damn kitchen. Full size fridge with freezer, stove, dishwasher, sink, enough electrical outlets to run anybody's little kitchen gadgets, there was also a toaster, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The bed was pretty comfortable, there was ... [more]even a china cabinet. They had free wireless internet access, the doormen are real cool guys, the furniture's all vintage and cool, it's right in the middle of downtown, there's 2 TVs to a room, the windows open out to a fire escape, it's just way cool. Next time I'm in Chicago, I'd gladly stay at the Seneca. [less]

Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [8] • Service [10] • Value [10] We loved the Seneca Hotel, we stayed there on our honeymoon. It was a really neat hotel, very old-fashioned. The price we got was amazing, and the location couldn't have been better. We loved it and will definitely go back!! Overall Rating: 8 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [10] We loved the location of this charming hotel. Its directly behind the John Hancock buklding and walking distance
to many fine restaurants, shops and attractions. Ours was a suite, with a small kitchenette, and large sitting room. We paid $169/night but the big hit was the parking at an additional $38/night. I did check online at other hotels in that area and they all had a similiar parking ... [more]charge. [less]
