We have a large family (10) and are always looking for value when we stay at hotels. This hotel was very accomodating to our needs, giving us in essence three adjoining rooms (the middle room had places to stay to sleep, but was like a living room)at a very reasonable rate. This made our large family's stay very comfortable. While it would have been nice to stay right in or next to Colonial... [more] Williamsburg, we just could not get any decent rates that would have been affordable for our size family. This hotel is located within a 10-15 minute drive to the Colonial Williamsburg Vistor's Center. We found everyone of the staff very polite and helpful. While this is not a new hotel, we felt the rooms were clean. The best part of the stay was the large cook to order breakfast (which the cost is included in the room rate. the breakfast had as many selections as a regular restaurant. restaurant. The only drawback was that the hotel was very crowded (as one would expect in the summer) and parking spots while always available, were not always close. Also, with some many people in the hotel, there was quite a wait for the elevator. I found it easier to use the stairs. All in all this hotelis a great find in Williamsburg area and I would stay there again. [less]

The hotel was very clean and in an excellent area. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rates were excellent. The room was comfy. I'll be back.

We found this hotel to be very clean, very spacious rooms and the hot made to order omlettes were great! I have only one complaint. We were there for 4 days, 3 nights and every morning but one my entire family (4) were at breakfast together. The last morning we were there, my husband and daughter finished breakfast early and went to finish packing while myself and my nephew continued to eat our... [more] omlettes. The two of us got up to get another drink and when we came back they had thrown our breakfasts out and cleaned the table. We were not very happy as the line for omlettes was long at the time and we did not want to wait again. Make sure one person stays at the breakfast table until everyone is finished! Hope this little hint helps as all the ones I read before we went had helped us choose this hotel. Some of the hotel employees serving breakfast did not seem very happy but overall we enjoyed our time very much. [less]
