Stayed twice this summer. Once by myself and once leading a group of nature photographers. Both times desk people excellent, courteous and helpful. Rooms spotless. Great group rate. One of best free Continental breakfasts. Located in a better part of Lawton near all better restaurants.

Well once again the Patels have taken a nice place and have ruined it. Last time we were there, the security locks on the doors were gone, no security from the outside, Requested non smoking was given a smoking room, when complained, evening clerk was rude and said owner will be on site in the morning. We booked reservations online nearly two weeks in advance and requested non-smoking, double beds and "guaranteed late arrival" with this hotel. When we arrived (around 11:20 pm) that evening, we checked in and proceeded to get off the elevator of a floor that was apparently for smoking rooms because the odor of cigarettes was so thick that you could see a haze of smoke in the air. Well... [more], when we entered our room, it was obvious that we had been given a smoking room. When we called to the front desk, they explained to us that there was a hugh conference of some sort in town and that they had given our non-smoking room, which was reserved two weeks in advance, to another guest before we arrived and the room they assigned to us was the only room left in the entire hotel! Needless to say, we had to spend the night in a smoke-filled room with cigarette burns on the toilet seat, in the tub and on the dresser - TOTALLY DISGUSTING!! All of luggage and the contents thereof was saturated with smoke and we had to get all of clothes dry cleaned because of the odor. When I spoke with management about a refund of just the room, it took me 1 week to get a call back in which they stated they would send a refund via mail. Well, it's been 4 weeks and 1 day now and I still haven't received that check! YOUR RESERVATIONS AT THIS HOTEL WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! [less]
