Overall Rating: 6 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [6] • Value [10] We stayed 4 nights at the park Shore Hotel. We had a budget room and our room had not been renovated. The Hotel was located in a perfect spot for us. We were right across from a good boogie boarding beach, a short walk from Waikiki, across from Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo. We were able to take part in 'sunset on the beach' with a free outdoor movie shown on a huge screen with s... [more]everal great food kiosks and some neat Hawaiian crafts. In addition it was a short bus or car ride to Hanahauma(sp) Bay for fabulous snorkeling. We went on a wonderful free guided tour of some of the historical parts of Waikiki Beach with a local. Other Historical spots and points of interests were within easy walking distance. For us this was a superb location. [less]
