When my flea bites continued to itch for 48 hours, I phoned the general manager at the Ashland Springs Hotel to tell him what had happened. The lobby is absolutely quaint--like something out of a Humphrey Bogart movie--but the charm ends there. The rooms are VERY small. I have stayed in larger rooms in NYC for the same or lower price. Looks lovely but when you get into the room, the noise from the ducts and vents is ridiculous.
