My sister and I stayed here with her two girls for a "girls only" long weekend. It is a nice centrally located motel with great waffles for breakfast!

My family of five stayed here in July 2005. We had plenty of space in one of the family suites on the top floor. The location south of the bridge was quiet, and near the aquarium. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great, and they even put out fresh baked cookies in the evening. The lodge style La Quinta Inn and Suites Newport sits at the south end of the Yaquina Bay Arch Bridge. The location is just minutes from the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Historic Bayfront (turn of the century storefronts, art galleries, restaurants, and chowder houses. Spend the day at Undersea Gardens, Aquarium Village, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and Wax Works. Visit Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, built in 1871, Hatfield Marine Science Center, or take in events at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
