Sheraton Baton Rouge Convention Center Hotel

It took a week and a half to get a moldy shower curtain replaced; it took 2 weeks and many complaints before the ice machine was fixed; the typical room cleaning consisted of emptying the trash cans and making the bed. Nothing else was done or cleaned up. On more than one occasion used wash clothes were left in the bath tub, used glasses and coffee cups were not attended to, nor was the coffee maker. Complaints were not necessarily followed up on. On one occasion laundry was misplaced for a day. They gladly accept premium room payment for quality rooms and serice, but do not provide that level of service. Choose something else.

This place costs the proverbial arm and leg, in my opinion!It's almost $200 per night-damn!-EG

Stayed at the Sheraton Baton Rouge from 05/06 to 05/08. This hotel is wonderful. Very courteous staff. Shuttle to and from the airport was nice. Especially since there was no other hotel offering that. The hotel is right across the street from the convention center. It's adjacent to the Argosy Casino, a very short walk to the USS Kidd(which was very interesting). Only downfall is there was nothing else around. No restraunts, bars, or entertainment. Would recommend renting a car if your going to stay there. Other than that, the hotel was great.

This is a very stylish (& expensive)hotel.I only wish that I had the money to stay here a few days (or even a few weeks),indeed.
