The Davenport Hotel is the best hotel I've ever stayed at including the Plaza in NY, the St. Regis in NY (at one point the most expensive in the US) and the Hay-Adams (most expensive) in Washington.

The service is amazing: the pamper of the St. Regis, only with warmth. The ambience is unbelievable: the sound from the grand piano in the lobby, the sights of the extraordinary architectural detail in the interior and the magnificent furniture in each guest room, the feel of the sheets specially imported from Ireland, the aroma and taste of the food to die for.

The hotel has so mnay clever innovations and design details, dating back to 1914, that it is worth a tour, even if you are not a guest.

My dream is to take my wife there even though it's across the continent and we have no reason to go to Spokane. The hotel is reason enough.

We always have a very pleasant experience when we stay at the Davenport. We are treated like royalty when we are there and have become so spoiled by our stay that we absolutely will not stay at another hotel when we visit Spokane, no matter what occasion may be. We can't wait to go back!

The hotel lobby was stunning to begin with. Fascinating history of the hotel's beginnings and it's recent renovation. Our room was very large with the most comfortable and luxurious beds I've ever slept in bar none! We enjoyed the oversized soaking tub as well as the soft classical music and treats on our turned down bed upon check in. The service in general and specifically that of the concierage was informative, gracious and the restaurant suggestions were top notch. Try Luna if you have the chance. My daughter is attending school in the area so I will be fortunate enough to have many opportunities to stay at one my favorite hotels.

it was so beautiful and the service was great. I enjoyed the fact that people who weren't actually staying at the hotel could come in and order from the resturant. It is very old and actique looking that it makes you go back a couple hundred years.

The Davenport Hotel is they highest rated hotel in Spokane, I was mislead by your rating (Hotel Lusso rated highest) as the service level of the Davenport was clearly higher, the ambience of the hotel and services & amenities are all 5-star. You should visit the properties you rate, I am sure you would agree. We found the Davenport to compete with other 5 star properties on the East Coast. No other hotel in Spokane even competes! I will tell all colleagues to select the Davenport every time.
