A great place to stay for the whole family. We love it there. The rooms are wonderful and the pools are great (and we were there in the winter.)

Beautiful Lodge, restoration top notch, but who does the hiring? Stopped by to check it out, suppose we should have changed from fly fishing wear cause when we asked about rooms, and clerk looked us up and down then quoted us a resonable rate for a 4 star place, we asked if we could look around some more first and were cooly told that the grounds were for the "guests", but were free to l... [more]ook around the lobby...what a snob... guess he should have looked at my rig instead of my clothing... huh. Insulted, we choose to stay down the road at an OK hotel/lodge instead, but feel that if the service matched the surroundings, we would have had a GREAT time at Whitetail Lodge. It really is gorgeous and pictures online do not do it justice. Maybe we will come up from Boise again sometime to check it out. maybe..... [less]

We stayed for 2 days in October, 2004 and had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful log property with excellent service and the gourmet dining was really special with local specialties. It is truly a relaxing and enjoyable experience. McCall is Idaho at its finest and the White Tail Club is exquisite. You cannot go wrong staying there. PS-their bedding and furniture were first rate.
