Drastic improvement in the restaurant and Hotel! Great new colors and modern decor. The renovation changed the entire look and feel. Service was great throughout my stay, from check-in to check-out. Front desk staff were warm and inviting. Restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was quick and delicious. Did not dine for lunch, but Dinner was fantastic. At my time at Capitol Plaza Hotel, I had various likes and dislikes of the hotel. First I would like to state that Capitol Plaza Hotel had several of friendly staff and there was a number of clean belongings. There were also things that I most of all hated! The color scheme was very welcoming and "homey". I did not eat in the restaurant, but the catered meal was very tasty. The bar area is open but seemed excessively noisy with only a few in the bar. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was CLEAN as well as the bath. I would definately go back!
