When we had a failure to communicate with an airline the management at the hotel went out of thier way to assist us at cost to them in time and fuel. Walking distance to the Fred Meyer, and a quick taxi drive downtown, or to the park on the river makes location a winner!

	Easy to find, great rooms, low cost
	got confused by name change

The New Kings Inn is now the Best Western Black Bear Inn. That really threw us for a loop.
I enjoyed their service, the rooms, were great, and they had many wonderful ideas for what to do in Salem.
I have never seen a pool or workout room as big as theirs.
