Overall Rating: 10 Location [6] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [10] Loved all aspects, except trying to get to the place. Road signs were awful, but worth the trouble. Best of all I've stayed in Atlantic City. Not the Bellagio, but for the budget concious, this is the best the east coast has to offer. Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [10] I truly thought our opus suite was beautiful, even if some of the furniture is a bit tacky. The bathroom is was truly sold me, with the deep soaking bath, two-person shower, and high quality bath robes. The service was great from the security guards to the impeccable room service. Plus me and my friends got lucky on the slots. I would recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a lot of money and have a great time, because even with a comp'd room things are expensive.
P.S. The free drinks were great and so we're the borgata babes =)~ Was this review helpful to you? → YES / NO | | By • WOW!
Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [6] I absolutely loved the Borgata!
Nice modern atmosphere with top class entertainment. So much to do & see there.
Outstanding band that we saw @ the Gypsy Lounge named "Kangaroo Jones".
Would definitely go there again even just to see them!!
A bit expensive to stay there but nothing but the best. Was this review helpful to you? → YES / NO | | By • The Best Spa
Overall Rating: 8 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [8] Pros: The Borgata is by far the best casino in Atlantic City. I recently spent a "girls weekend" with my Mother and Grandmother and we had a ball! We stayed in a Fiore Suite. All the suites are in one area with a view of the marina. Beautiful! The room was impeccable! Customer service was great at every point in our stay from the check-in, to room service, to check-out. The highlight of the stay was definitely the spa! I am a "spa girl" and this is the one of the best spas I have ever been too. Second only to Sandy Lane in Barbados. From the workout room to the sauna,to the pool, it was just wonderful. Cons: Compared to the other casinos, the restaurants did not provide a lot of variety for the palate or the pocketbook. Also, they do not provide WIFI and the charge for use of the Internet is a little out of line in my opinion. For what you are paying for the room, the cost should be lower. Overall: I would definitely go back! Was this review helpful to you? → YES / NO | | By Hidden Vacations User from Lincoln Park, NJ • It's a treat to stay there!
Overall Rating: 10 Location [6] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [10] Its pure luxury. I never slept in a more comfortable bed. The sheets are so cozy & the pillows are perfect. I called up & asked for their suppliers so I can purchase my bedding to feel like theirs. Higher Class people, elegant place. Overall Rating: 10 Location [10] • Room [10] • Service [10] • Value [10] I went there for a girls weekend. It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at.. We enjoyed the resturants, spa, casino, lounges. I felt like I was at an upscale resort plus it made me feel lucky being there. I would recommend it to anyone - I will be back! Overall Rating: 6 Location [4] • Room [10] • Service [8] • Value [2] | Clean | | Over priced & "tight" |
I find this Hotel/casino to be too small, over priced, rude service for the cost, and in a bad location. However, it is extreamly clean, the bartenders/waitresses look amazing, and the rooms are extreamly nice. You're better off staying at any casino on the boardwalk. I would reccommend the A/C Hilton. Overall Rating: 8 The room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Shower big enough for two, marble counters, separate water closet, scandanavian furniture, excellent bedding. Food was pricey and with the strike on the boardwalk, we were limited to the hotel property so as not to cross picket lines. Slots were extremely tight and I was lucky to come home with my shirt!!! Tables appeared to be doing all the business. The local shuttle, Jitney, stops at the back of the hotel and will take you to the other casinos and the boardwalk which makes for convenience if you don't want to use your car ($1.50 each way per person). I would have liked to have seen shuttle service to Philadelphia for professional games and sight seeing. I would probably stay at the hotel again because of its atmosphere and privacy but, the boardwalk can offer cheaper food, diversification away from gambling by walking on the boardwalk and enjoying the ocean. Overall Rating: 2 Did not enjoy our stay!! The staff was rude and the atmosphere too pretentious!!! Would not go back! :( Was this review helpful to you? → YES / NO | | By yahoo travel user from Cherry Hill, NJ • Not very friendly
Overall Rating: 4 I live in N.J. and travel to Las Vegas often so maybe my opinion is a bit jaded but I found the staff at The Borgata to be less than friendly and even a bit cold at times. My room was not ready on time and I had to wait an additional hour for it and no one seemed to care. Then after the wait the room was less than presentable. It looked as if my 5 year old had made the bed. As far as the gaming tables the staff seemed very cold, would not talk to you and seemed to be more concerned with looking over your shoulder for someone else rather to even look at you. I also visited the spa and found it to be a little dirty. There were dirty towels laying around the entire 4+ hours I was there. The sinks in the mens baths were dirty as well. I had a massage while I was there, the attendant seemed very nice but when I told her to please concentrate on a certain body part she said ok but never did. Overall the "BORGATA" does not live up to the hype that it is passing by on at this time. I will not stay there again!!! Was this review helpful to you? → YES / NO | |
