Sound insulation is horrendous. You hear every single word the guy next door is saying.
Terrible service. Breakfast comes without sugar, no hot water for the tea (2 out of 5 breakfast deliveries). After calling twice to request the hot water, it arrives 45 minutes later (service person: "I am sorry I just woke up").
Make a request for a room cleaning, find your room not cleaned by the end of the day.

These are just some of the service issues that are plaguing this hotel, which does not deserve its "Renaissance" title.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance. It is not on the strip, so it is a little cheaper sometimes than the strip properties. It is an easy walk next door to the tram, which will take you to the strip. The hotel is spacious, clean and very service friendly. The deco is wonderful. This is a place I would definitely come back to. Rooms have free high speed internet and you can go wireless around the pool.

I love the rooms. Very comfortable beds and very pleasing decor.

The pool could be larger, but the fitness room is great. Free bottle water is a plus.

	Close to Monorail, CLEAN rooms, wonderful locations
	TV Reception was not good.

I honestly thought that a hotel without a theme or casino would bore me but was I wrong! This hotel is VERY mature. Great hotel for the family that wants to get away from the noise, smokey smell, and crowds of a strip side hotel. I actually enjoyed staying at this hotel and the rooms were absolutely wonderful. The TV was the biggest surprise! It was a very large flat panel LCD TV. Looked absolutely beautiful. The only gripe with the TV is that the reception was HORRIBLE.

As for the location, the neighborhood was a little "Scary". Being off the strip, you get all the shady areas of the "ghetto". But the monorail is a short 3 minute walk away from the hotel! Easy access to anywhere on the strip! PLENTY of parking as well.

I will most definantly go back there again.

What a fabulous experience! The hotel is a true gem -- and right next to the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is an exceptional hotel and the perfect place to entertain clients, have a great dinner and close the big business deal. We have already booked for next year.
