My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay in Manitou Springs, CO. We had a great time, it is a great place to visit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Eagle Motel. This motel is owned by a mom and pop couple who are warm and welcoming. We where told that the motel was built in the 1950's though you would never know it by the great condition it is in. This motel wo... [more]uld put my house keeping to shame. Extremely clean! Linens and bath where outstanding for cleanliness. They did not just "freshen up" our room each day, they cleaned it to shine. We paid 49.00 per night and thought that was a great value. We highly recommend this place to our friends and will most definitely return to Manitou Springs and Eagle Motel. [less]
