Birmingham Museum of ArtDescriptionThe Birmingham Museum of Art is currently the largest municipal art museum in the Southern United States. The museum's collection encompasses more than 21,000 objects from all periods. It includes decorative arts (particularly German cast-iron and Wedgwood objects), the largest collection of Asian art in the Southeast, Native American and African art, impressionism, contemporary art and American landscapes. The Birmingham Museum also provides year-round educational activities for the public and hosts frequent touring and special exhibitions.

Operating HoursTuesday - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays, New Year's Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day.
