The permanent collection of the museum includes American Fine Art Gallery; Altmayer American Gallery, featuring 19th century paintings; Maisel European Gallery, featuring European paintings, prints, sculpture, and decorative arts; African and Asian Gallery with works by African, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Turkish artists. The museum's collection spans 2,000 years of cultural history.

Getting ThereFrom I-65, take the Springhill Avenue Exit (Exit 5) and turn left at the end of the ramp onto Springhill Avenue. Go approximately 1 1/2 miles and turn left on John D. New Street (traffic signal). Take an immediate right onto Museum Drive. The museum is the first building on the right.
