Alaska Camping ToursDescriptionSince 1985 CampAlaska has been offering visitors camping tours to many popular destinations - Kenai Peninsula, Kodiak, Wrangells, the Alaska Range, Denali Park, Prince William Sound. Camping tours are enjoyable and very affordable. Alaska is a beautiful place to camp. The campgrounds are selected for their natural beauty and proximity to places of interest. The tours travel by van with a small group and an experienced guide. All tours are designed to allow time for sightseeing, hiking or other activities during the day. The tents and other camping equipment are provided. Tours depart from Anchorage.
Age Range, Type of GroupAll groups are welcome. Tours are designed for the first time camper as well as the experienced outdoors person. Group size is limited to twelve adults. For families with children the Alaska Family Safari tour is offered.
Accommodation and MealsSome campgrounds have primitive facilities; others have modern facilities. There is a Food Kitty price for each tour, which includes most meals. The guide prepares the dinners, and everyone assists with the preparation and clean-up.
