Reid Park ZooDescriptionReid Park Zoo is home for more than 400 animals—rhinos, elephants, anteaters, polar bears, lions, tigers, zebras and many more. The South American exhibit showcases a capybara (the largest rodent in the world), piranhas, and black jaguars. The Flight Connection exhibit is a full-flight, walk through aviary. Children will enjoy a playground in the adjacent park.
Entrance FeeAdults: $6 Seniors (age 62 and over: $4 Children (age 2-14): $2 FREE for children under 2 years.
Operating HoursOpen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Zoo is closed December 25th, and closes early (at noon) on Thanksgiving Day.
Getting ThereReid Park Zoo is located off of Randolph Way, just north of 22nd Street. Randolph Way is the first street west of Alvernon.
