Tohono Chul ParkDescriptionThe name "Tohono Chul" means "desert corner" in the language of the Tohono O'odham. Tohono Chul Park provides an excellent introduction to the plant and animal life of the desert. Visitors of the park will see a forest of cholla cacti and a garden of small and complex pincushion cacti. In the period from mid-February to April it's possible to enjoy the wildflower displays. Tohono Chul Park also includes an ethnobotanical garden; a garden for children; a demonstration garden; natural areas; an exhibit house for art displays; a tearoom; and two very good gift shops.
