Tucson Museum of ArtDescriptionThe Tucson Museum of Art has been a collecting museum for more than 25 years, and now its collection contains more than 7,000 pieces. The Art of the American West collection includes works by such famous artists as Oscar Berninghaus, Eanger I. Couse, and Nicolai Fechin. The Art of the Americas collection features pre-Columbian works and folk art from the Spanish colonial and post-colonial periods. The Modern and Contemporary collection of the museum comprises of works by Chuck Close, Max Weber, and Marsden Hartley. The museum's building is surrounded by historic adobes and a spacious plaza frequently used to display sculptures.
Entrance FeeAdults: $8 Seniors (age 60+): $6 Students (age 13+): $3 Free for children 12 and under First Sunday of the month is FREE to all.
