 This Western town was originally built as the set for the 1939 movie Arizona. In the years since, it has been used for filming of John Wayne's Rio Lobo, Rio Bravo, and El Dorado; Clint Eastwood's The Outlaw Josey Wales, and many other movies.

 This small but popular zoo is an important breeding center for several endangered species. Giant anteaters, white rhinoceroses, tigers, and zebras are inhabitants of the zoo.

 Tucson Museum of Art features collections of pre-Columbian art, art of the American West, American and other 20th-century modern art, modern and hosts traveling shows. The permanent collection of the museum contains more than 7,000 pieces of art.

 Called the White Dove of the Desert, this beautiful, blindingly white adobe church is the finest example of mission architecture in the Southwest. It was built between 1783 and 1797 and incorporates Moorish, Byzantine, and Mexican Renaissance architectural styles.

 This small park provides an excellent introduction to the plant and animal life of the desert. The park also includes an exhibit house for art displays; a tearoom that's great for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea; and two very good gift shops.

 This renowned attraction combines zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden. It showcases the diverse flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert. Coyotes, bears and mountain lions live in their natural settings. The gift shop carries books about Arizona and the desert, plus jewelry and crafts.
