 Old Washington Historic State Park is a restoration village, containing the state’s largest collection of pre-Civil War homes. Guests of the park can get a sense of 19th-century life in Arkansas. Opened in 1926, with only two animals, the Little Rock Zoo now contains more than 725 animals representing about 200 species, many on the endangered list.
