Black Bear InnDescriptionBlack Bear Inn is a luxury lodge with 5 guest rooms and 3 cabins on a wooded acre. The main lodge has five generous guest rooms, each with private bath, one king bed and gas fireplace. Three private cabins of varying sizes and a hot tub gazebo sit in the back grounds beneath the pine trees.
In the summer vacationers can relax on any of Lake Tahoe's many beautiful beaches underneath mountain ranges. Guests can enjoy golf, tennis, inline skating, horseback riding, fishing and boat cruises on the lake. Guests could visit nearby historic sites such as Virginia City.
Wintertime is when Tahoe shows off its nineteen ski resorts, including Heavenly Valley (just one mile from Black Bear), Squaw Valley and Kirkwood. Cross-country skiing is available at several areas around the lake, and at all skill levels. Those who don't ski can enjoy a snow mobile tour through meadows and forestland, and along the crest of the Carson mountain range, ice skating and forest stroll.
Whatever the season, Lake Tahoe has several casinos. The larger casinos have touring entertainers and shows, stage musicals and several restaurants.
