Hollywood Forever CemeteryDescriptionFounded in 1899, Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the resting place of many famous persons, including Hollywood's stars and important people in the history of Los Angeles. Recently refurbished to its original splendor, Hollywood Forever Cemetery attracts visitors from all over the world. Among the graves are those of Cecil B. DeMille, Mel Blanc, and Fay Wray. Inside the Cathedral Mausoleum there is Rudolph Valentino's crypt, stained red from many lipstick kisses. The cemetery also features a "Library of Lives", with thousands of interactive LifeStories, made from film clips, photos, written and spoken words.
The lush gardens, lakes, and spectacular views of the hollywood sign make it a good place for walking as well. During the summer, movies are screened at the cemetery. They are projected onto the side of one of the buildings.
