Universal Studios HollywoodDescriptionFrom a seat on a comfortable tour tram, visitors of Universal Studios will pass stars' dressing rooms and production offices, see the process of movie making and experience the fascinating adventures: meet a 30-foot-tall version of King Kong; be attacked by the ravenous killer shark of Jaws fame; survive an all-too-real simulation of an earthquake that measures 8.3 on the Richter scale; experience an avalanche, a snowstorm, or rain forest fog.
Many attractions are based on Universal films and television shows: "Revenge of the Mummy" (a super-high-tech indoor roller coaster that's enhanced with animatronics and motion picture technology), "Terminator 2" (a high-tech cyberwar show that combines live action with 3-D technology, explosions, and laser fire), and many others. Aside from the park, there is a separate venue, CityWalk, where visitors will find a slew of shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and movie theaters, including IMAX 3D.
