Sacramento ZooDescriptionThe Sacramento Zoo is located in William Land Park in Sacramento. The zoo opened on June 2, 1927 with 40 animals. Nowadays the Sacramento Zoo is home to more than 400 animals including the snow leopard, red panda, Bateleur eagles and reptiles. The Zoo also has two lakes, and unique gardens: a butterfly and hummingbird garden and a camellia garden complete with animal sculptures. The zoo offers lectures and tours.
Entrance FeeWeekdays: Adults: $7 Children (age 3-12): $4.50 Children under three are admitted free. For weekend or holiday admission prices add 50 cents (USD) to weekday prices.
