 Located approximately 7 miles from downtown Steamboat Springs, the Strawberry Park is the spot where a series of hot springs spew from the hillside at temperatures of approximately 150 degrees fahrenheit, and flow down into the creek.

 Located near Manitou Springs, Cave of the Winds provides a good opportunity to see the beauty of the underworld. Visitors can explore 20 subterranean chambers, complete with classic stalagmites, stalactites, crystal flowers, and limestone canopies. Outdoor laser shows with stereophonic sound are presented nightly during the summer.

 Manitou Cliff Dwellings date back back to 1100 AD. It's a must visit for anyone interested in history and ancient cultures. There are also two museums with exhibits on prehistoric Anasazi Indian life, and gift shops with Indian-made jewelry and pottery.

 For more than a hundred years Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway has been transporting passengers to the summit of Pikes Peak. It is the highest cog railroad in the world and the highest train in the U.S. The journey is exciting and the view from the summit is amazing.

 No visit to the Colorado Springs is complete without a trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The Zoo combines the breathtaking mountain scenery with more than 750 animals from around the world. A stroller- and wheelchair-accessible tram makes a full loop of the zoo.

 Garden of the Gods in Colorado is the one of the West's unique geological sites. The rock garden is composed of spectacular red sandstone formations sculpted by rain and wind over millions of years. The park has many trails for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking.

 This year-round resort offers winter and spring skiing on 141 trails of trademark "champagne powder," plus other outdoor activities - snowmobile, cross-country skiing, sleigh riding in winter, hiking, biking and horse riding in summer and fall.

 Aspen Art Museum presents rotating exhibits highlighting the work of regional and national artists. Lectures and art education programs for adults and children are offered year-round. The complimentary wine-and-cheese reception is held every Thursday.
