Cave of the Winds

This impressive underground cavern was discovered by two boys on a church outing in the 1880s. The Cave of the Winds is an interesting geological formation. Visitors go along a well-lit 3/4-mile passageway through 20 subterranean chambers, complete with crystal flowers, stalagmites, stalactites, and limestone canopies. For adventurous travelers the Lantern Tour along unpaved and unlighted passageways and corridors is offered.
