 The Mystic Aquarium is both a tourist attraction and a serious research facility. Ongoing exhibits and interactive programs put visitors into close contact with sea inhabitants. The Aquarium is home to penguins, whales, seals and sea lions. There is a 30,000-gallon tank with exotic fish from around the world.

 This train travels alongside the Connecticut River and through the lower valley. Then you can take a ride up the river on an old-fashioned Mississippi-style riverboat. It's a great way to spend a good day and to enjoy the countryside in the most relaxing manner.
