Bonnet House Museum and GardensDescriptionBonnet House Museum & Gardens is a unique blend of art, architecture, gardening, ecology and history. Built in 1921, the house was once the winter home of artist Frederic Clay Bartlett, a noted painter and art collector, and his wife Evelyn. Mrs. Bartlett gave the estate to the State of Florida in 1983. Now it is open for public. Tropical gardens and ponds with bonnet water lilies surround the house. A nature trail walk taking approximately 10 to 30 minutes is available.
