 Built in 1808, Fort Jackson is the oldest standing brick fortification in the state. It has been a part of Georgia’s history for nearly two centuries. Visitors of the Fort can explore the tunnel-like passageways that used to house soldiers and store ammunition and supplies. Cannons and other weapons are on display throughout.
