The DNCFR (Dodge National Finals Rodeo) is the most popular inaugurated competition in Pocatello, Idaho. PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association), and members of the Pocatello-based, Frontier Rodeo Association, have been discussing the idea of a championship competition to feature the circuit champions from across the country for many years. The Fort Hall Replica is a reproduction of the original Hudson's Bay Fort. The construction was based on plans obtained from the Hudson's Bay Company and extensive research based on early descriptions of the Fort from persons who lived at or visited Fort Hall. A visit to the Fort Hall Replica is to enter the 19th Century world of explorers, trappers, fur traders, Native Americans, pioneers, Gold seekers, historic figures, and common folk; all of whom visited the place called Fort Hall on the banks of the Snake River in what is now Southeast Idaho.
