DeWolf-Allerdice HouseDescriptionThe charming three-story Italianate Inn is conveniently located in downtown Indianapolis, in the Old Northside Historic District. The neighbor homes built in the 1860s and include examples of Victorian, Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, Italianate, Stick Eastlake and Free Classic styles of architecture. The DeWolf-Allerdice House was restored recently and started revitalizing guests in September of 1999. The Morris-Butler House Museum, built in 1865, is directly adjacent to the Inn and offers fascinating tours illustrating period arts and decorating styles, architecture and family life in the mid-Victorian era. World-class restaurants and entertainment sites are just minutes away.
Genuine hospitality, peaceful atmosphere and gourmet Europena-style food are distinguishing features of the DeWolf-Allerdice House. Every morning guests are delighted with a sumptuous gourmet breakfast. It begins with homemade yogurt atop a combination of fresh fruit, freshly made smoothies, and fresh juices. After that simple beginning, the main course and the dessert, brewed Irish Breakfast Blend Coffee or English Breakfast Tea are served.
