Stone Soup Inn Bed & BreakfastDescriptionIn the old children's story, "Stone Soup", three tired hungry travelers in come upon a small village only to find the inhabitants wary and pretending to be in need themselves. The travelers convince the villagers they can make a soup out of stones. Enchanted by this curious idea, the villagers gradually contribute the food they had hidden away. Together, they make a wonderful soup and the whole village comes out to welcome the travelers with a great feast.
Stone Soup Inn draws from the lesson of the story. We welcome new visitors to our city and have created a warm, friendly environment. Beauty and comfort are the key words at Stone Soup Inn. Here travelers can relax by a fire, share their experiences and sleep in comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. All rooms contain beautifully detailed woodwork and hardwood floors. The Inn offers continental breakfast on weekdays and full breakfast on weekends. Breakfast is served in the distinctive dining room or, weather permitting, on the large, wraparound porch.
