Blank Park ZooDescriptionThe Blank Park Zoo is home for about 800 animals, which are housed in natural settings. 104 different animal species are presented at the Blank Park Zoo. The zoo is fun for all ages. It offers many fun experiences for children, such as crawling through simulated prairie dog tunnels and feeding, petting and riding animals. For kids 3-12 there are weekly Summer Safari Classes. The Blank Park Zoo also boasts one of the largest botanical collections in the state of Iowa.
