 Adventureland of Des Moines is a popular attraction for all family. This amusement park contains over 100 rides, shows, and attractions including some of the country's most exciting roller coasters and thrill rides.

 The Cottage is nestled in an area of Des Moines which was originally settled in the early 1850s by Albert Shelby Kingman, a Des Moines businessman. Albert Kingman developed extensive farming, timber and nursery businesses in the Cottage Grove area during a period of time when Des Moines was moving westward from the downtown and fort areas of Des Moines.
