Audubon ZooDescriptionRated one of the top zoos in the United States, the Audubon Zoo presents 1,800 animals (including rare and endangered species) live in natural habitats rather than cages. The zoo is home for lions, tigers, bears, sea lions, and a family of extremely rare white (albino) alligators. One of the main attractions of the zoo, Louisiana Swamp exhibit, re-creates the natural habitat of alligators, nutria (large swamp rodents), and catfish. Here visitors can witness feeding of alligators. Other attractions include the butterfly exhibit, the children's petting zoo, and white Bengal tigers.
