Deer, racoons, opossums, beaver, owls, hawks, egrets, kingfishers, and many other species of birds may be spotted. Guests enjoy nature trails, swimming, and sunning on the private beach.
The cottage provides two private bedrooms (one with king-size bed, the other with a double bed), a single bath, and a large living room area open to a fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens onto a wide porch with spectacular views of the Little Tchefuncte River, woodlands, and sandy beaches. The cottage is appointed with handcrafted and antique furniture, wildlife art, and baskets. The fully equipped kitchen is includes a stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker.
