The Gardens of the American Rose CenterDescriptionThe Gardens of the American Rose Center, operated by the American Rose Society, are beautiful botanical gardens dedicated to rose varieties. The gardens occupy 42 acres and include some 20,000 rose varieties, arranged in gardens such as ones featuring the newest rose hybrids, miniature roses, All-America Rose Selections, and single petaled roses.

Seniors (60+ ): $2.50
Children (age 7-12): $1
Free for children 6 and under.
Operating HoursApril through October
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Getting ThereThe Gardens of the American Rose Center are located and easy to find off I-20 just a few minutes west of Shreveport. Take Exit # 5 off Interstate 20 and follow the well-placed signs to the Rose Center on Jefferson Paige Road.
