Camden Maine Stay Inn

Description

The inn's two parlors have wood burning fireplaces. Highly crafted elegant iron castings shape the mantel and circumscribe the hearth in the North Parlor. Many of the rooms have initial wide plank pine flooring. Luxurious rugs, period furnishings, and many antebellum things are found throughout the house. Guests could take breakfast at the historic harvest table in the dining room or at a table for two on the sun porch facing the garden.

Guests are cheery welcome in the Camden Maine Stay's big country kitchen. They can use the cookie jar, get some ice or talk about the days' events near the antique Queen Atlantic stove.

The inn's eight nice guest rooms have an eclectic collection of decorations including remarkable old beds with firm new mattresses. Bathrooms are modern and, of course, the inn is ideally clean.
