Georgian House Bed & BreakfastDescriptionThe two-story, five-bay brick house is one of the oldest structures in Annapolis, and it is the second oldest home in this historic city being used as a bed & breakfast. First built in 1747 as a two-story, one-bay, one room house, it was expanded in 1760 to a five-bay brick house with center entrance. Included in the addition was a stone-walled cellar incorporating a still existing cooking fireplace. Offering a step back in time, the Georgian House' first floor has an elegant double salon with original yellow pine floors, fine oil paintings, six fireplaces, and period window treatments. Our four guest rooms are attractively furnished, each with its own unique color scheme, coordinated fabrics and old world charm. We provide delicious breakfast that includes a hot entree, fresh seasonal fruit, and home-baked muffins or pastries.
AmenitiesAll our guest rooms has comfortable queen sized beds wicth have distinctive styles with double mattresses, and are fitted with soft 100% cotton sheets to insure an exceptionally good night's sleep. The private baths and 16 inch walls insure privacy and quiet throughout the house, allowing each room to have it's own TV/VCR. A large library of books and videotapes, a microwave and beverages are available for our guests. The Georgian House is centrally air conditioned, and discounted convenient parking is available.
