Paul Revere HouseDescriptionIt is the oldest house in downtown Boston, built around 1680. The house was bought by silversmith Paul Revere in 1770. From this house Paul Revere, in 1775, set out on his famous midnight ride to warn his compatriots that the British were coming. Now Paul Revere House is a National Historic Landmark and museum. It contains 17th- and 18th-century furnishings and artifacts, including the famous Revere silver.

Closed on Mondays in January, February and March. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
