Beary Quaint

Description

Beary Quaint was built as the 19th century Life Saving station on Muskeget Island off Nantucket's western coast. In 1931 the structure was taken down and moved to its current location. Though the layout of the rooms has changed, the original woodwork gives Beary Quaint an older, more Victorian feel.

Beary Quaint is conveniently located in the Sunset Hill area of the old Historic District of Nantucket. It is just a short walk from the town center and three ocean beaches. The home features 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. The front porch of this is great for watching sunsets. Bookshelves filled with interesting titles invite browsing. The backdoor leads onto a brick patio with a charcoal grill. The yard is completely fenced in, and features an apple tree, flowering shrubs, a picnic table, and an outdoor hot and cold shower.
