Nevada Museum of Art

Description

The Nevada Museum of Art is the state's largest museum. The four-story structure was designed by architect Will Bruder and features 13,482 square feet of gallery space for major exhibitions and 180-seat multimedia theater for presentations, recitals, and films. The permanent collection of the Nevada Museum of Art consists of over 1900 works of art. Land and environment are the general themes of the museum's exhibits. Visitors can have a dinner at Cafe Musee (open 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

Adults: $10
Students: $8
Seniors (60+): $8
Children (age 6-12): $1
Children 5 and under are free.

Operating Hours

Tuesday - Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Galleries closed Mondays and national holidays.

Getting There

Take Interstate 80 to the Virginia Street exit and drive south down Virginia Street to Liberty Street. Drive west on Liberty to the corner of Liberty and Hill Streets. The Nevada Museum of Art is at 160 W. Liberty Street.
